Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist (RT Pediatric) in Asheville, North Carolina. This position involves providing respiratory care services in a busy hospital environment, supporting adult, neonatal, and pediatric patient populations across various critical care units. The role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe and effective respiratory therapy.
Job Details:
- Shift Time: Nights
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: North Carolina Respiratory License, Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification, BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications, and at least 1 year of relevant experience
- Preferred Qualifications: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification, experience with GE R860 adult vents, Draeger infant/Peds vents, Newport HT70 transport vent, V60 non-invasive device, Vapotherm, and Comfort Flow high flow oxygen devices
- Additional Information: The respiratory services department supports adult and pediatric critical care units, including neonatal intensive care and pediatric emergency care. Candidates should possess a strong patient-focused approach and adaptability to various critical care settings.
