Description - Your Responsibilities

• Conduct both standard and specialized clinical laboratory tests-including chemistry, hematology, and immunology-while adhering to established procedures.
• Evaluate test results for accuracy, diagnose unusual findings, and execute preventive maintenance on laboratory instruments.
• Assist with specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as necessary.
• Meticulously log all procedures performed, support training for new staff or students, and maintain the quality standards of the lab.
• Uphold cleanliness and safety in the workspace while complying with regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health qualification along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) expected within one year of employment.
• Maintain current certification throughout your tenure.
