Senior Sales Lead, North America Accelerate your path from high-performing individual contributor to sales leadership About Us TutorCruncher is a small edtech company based in London. We've been around since 2013, never got external funding, and for most of that time we've been growing steadily and quietly in our particular niche (management software for tutoring companies). As of the last couple of years, having accumlated fantastic technical expertise and a homergrown warchest, we have gotten a lot more ambitious. We've totally shifted gears. Not only do we have big plans for the growth of our flagship product (plans in which North American growth is vital), we have developed and released a new lesson delivery AI tool which has been excellently received so far. This product will increase our addressable market massively. There are a lot of plates in the air at the moment but the upside is phenomenal. We are looking for someone to take the lead on our sales strategy in North America. We already have one Onboarding Specialist/Account Executive based in Chicago (Tony, with whom you'll be working very closely), and as we demonstrate the continued growth of our North American operation we expect to build out that office more and more. We're looking for someone who can deliver two vital components of the role: Manage lists of thousands of prospective tutoring companies and ultimately also schools/school districts. Ultimately we want new customers, however you manage to make that work we'll back you, but it's probably going to require a lot of cold calls, linkedin, email, and attending and hosting conferences/events. Be our eyes and ears for the North American education sector. We'll want leadership, fresh ideas, valuable features, market trends, customer insights, and guidance. This role will be absolutely transformational for the success of TutorCruncher in North America. We want you to leave your mark. The Opportunity We want this to be a bridging role for someone who is a high performer in outbound sales to move more into a leadership position. If you can prove the concept and deliver results, we'll be happy to build out a team in the Chicago office and increase your responsibility rapidly. What We're Looking For Required 3+ years in B2B sales with a consistent record of exceeding quota. Proven ability to build pipeline from scratch. We need someone good at prospecting, not just managing inbound. A track record of informal leadership: mentoring peers, contributing to onboarding, or running team initiatives. Exceptional written and verbal communication. Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where the playbook is still being written. Ability to speak confidently and compellingly about tech and AI. Nice to Have Experience with education and/or edtech. Familliarity working in small companies. Experience as a team lead or managerial capacity.
