Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs and circumstances.

• Provide various evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Deliver therapeutic services to clients in various formats, including individuals, couples, groups, and families to address a spectrum of mental health issues.

• Document client progress meticulously, ensuring compliance with legal standards and ethical guidelines while maintaining accurate clinical records.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and training to stay updated with the latest research and methodologies in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will serve primarily include individuals, couples, and families facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Many of our clients have historically had limited access to quality mental health care, making your role vital in providing the support they need to navigate life's challenges effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Maryland.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a counseling setting, demonstrating strong foundational skills in therapy.

• A solid understanding of legal and ethical standards relevant to mental health practice.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling the establishment of rapport with a diverse clientele.
