Jeff Sawyer State Farm is seeking a competitive, results-driven Insurance Sales Representative to join our agency in Bensalem, PA.

This is a sales-dominant position for someone who enjoys prospecting, building a pipeline, overcoming objections, and confidently closing business. You'll generate new customers, expand existing accounts, and sell Auto, Home, Renters, Life, and other insurance products.

We're looking for someone who is motivated by production, disciplined with follow-up, and comfortable being held accountable for measurable sales results.

Insurance sales experience is preferred, but we're willing to develop a motivated professional with strong sales ability and a desire to succeed.

Licensing Requirements

• Property & Casualty license must be obtained before your first day in the agency.
• Life & Health license must be obtained within 45 days of starting.
• Already licensed candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Unlicensed candidates may apply if willing and able to complete the required licensing.
• Full licensing guidance, study support are provided.

What You'll Do

• Generate new business through outbound prospecting, warm leads, referrals, and networking.
• Quote, present, and close Auto, Home, Renters, Life, and other insurance products.
• Conduct needs-based sales conversations with prospective and existing customers.
• Build and manage a consistent pipeline of new business opportunities.
• Follow up persistently to convert leads into customers.
• Identify coverage gaps and cross-selling opportunities within our existing book of business.
• Confidently present recommendations, overcome objections, and ask for the sale.
• Generate referrals and develop long-term customer relationships.
• Track sales activity, manage your pipeline, and consistently work toward production goals.
• Actively identify and pursue Life insurance opportunities.

• Confidence initiating conversations, prospecting, and closing business.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Persistent, organized, and disciplined with follow-up.
• Comfortable discussing Life insurance and cross-selling multiple products.
• Motivated by commission, performance incentives, and earning potential.
• Coachable, accountable, and receptive to sales training.
• Previous insurance, financial services, automotive, banking, business development, or consultative sales experience preferred.
