Work Environment

This onsite position is located within our fully equipped rehabilitation facility in Arlington, VA. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical limitations and needs by reviewing medical histories and implementing specific assessments.

• Develop and explain detailed treatment plans to patients and their families, ensuring their involvement in goal-setting and decision-making.

• Implement effective treatment protocols based on patient evaluations, clinical judgment, and current healthcare practices to optimize patient recovery.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to manage patient care effectively and to modify treatment plans based on ongoing patient assessments.

• Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring all evaluations, plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries paint a clear picture of patient journeys.

• Manage time efficiently and meet productivity standards while maintaining a punctual and professional demeanor in all interactions.

• Participate in departmental goals and initiatives while adhering to all governmental and accreditation regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.

• A valid physical therapy license as mandated by local regulations.

• American Heart Association's BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR certification is required.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
