We are seeking a highly professional, skilled Temporary Litigation Legal Secretary to provide comprehensive administrative and legal support for a short-term coverage assignment from August 17 to August 24, 2026 . The ideal candidate will step seamlessly into a fast-paced environment, handling critical litigation tasks with accuracy and efficiency.

Job Responsibilities for the Temporary Litigation Legal Secretary:
- Draft, format, proofread, and finalize complex litigation documents, pleadings, motions, and correspondence.
- Electronically file legal documents accurately within New Mexico state and federal court systems.
- Manage attorney calendars, monitor strict court deadlines, and coordinate schedules for hearings or depositions.
- Organize and maintain electronic case files, answer phone calls, and assist the litigation team as needed.
- 5+ years of litigation legal secretary experience, preferably within a fast-paced defense firm environment.
- Thorough familiarity with New Mexico state and federal rules of civil procedure and e-filing protocols.
- Expert-level mastery of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel).
- Experience with Milana docketing software is a strong plus.
- Exceptional organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and a proven ability to manage multiple overlapping deadlines.
- Excellent analytical, written communication, and collaborative skills to work effectively in a team environment.
