Team members enjoy discounts on products, the advantages of working in a modern, new facility, and clear opportunities for career advancement within a growing business.Job DescriptionWork closely with the production scheduler to ensure all production requirements are met and daily schedules are executed effectively.Monitor all production lines to confirm they are running efficiently and address issues that impact throughput, quality, or safety.Supervise Team Leads, Machine Operators, and Product and Material Handlers, providing clear direction and support throughout the shift.Communicate job expectations to manufacturing staff and ensure all team members understand performance standards and production goals.Plan, monitor, and appraise job results for direct reports, providing regular feedback and performance evaluations.Coach, counsel, and discipline employees in a fair and consistent manner while upholding company policies and procedures.Initiate, coordinate, and enforce systems, policies, and procedures to maintain compliance with food safety, GMP, and workplace safety requirements.Maintain workflow by monitoring each step of the production process and removing barriers to efficient operation.Complete production plans by scheduling and assigning personnel, establishing priorities, and ensuring work is completed on time.Monitor progress throughout the shift, revise schedules as needed, and resolve production problems to meet output and quality targets.Prepare and report shift production summaries, documenting processing flow, performance, and any issues encountered.Analyze production performance records, KPIs, and metrics to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and cost savings.Respond to questions and requests for manufacturing information in a timely and professional manner.Additional RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or lead experience in a food and/or GMP-regulated environment.Demonstrated experience supervising production teams in a manufacturing setting.Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.Ability to train, motivate, and supervise personnel in a fair and consistent manner.Ability to recognize problem situations on the production floor and take appropriate resolution steps.Experience working with KPIs and metrics to monitor performance and drive improvements.Work EnvironmentThis role is based on 2nd shift, typically working from 3:00 p.m. to finish (approximately 11:00 p.m.–12:00 a.m.), Monday through Friday, with mandatory overtime including some weekends and occasional holidays as required by customer demand. The work takes place in a meat processing and packaging facility, where conditions can be cold and wet for extended periods.Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Lebanon, PA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $70000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
