Customer Service Representative

This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service via phone and email, delivering timely information, addressing customer inquiries, and resolving issues efficiently. Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner. Process customer orders accurately and enter order information into the warehouse management system. Monitor inbound and outbound shipments and provide customers with shipment status updates. Process customer billing and invoicing accurately. Investigate and resolve customer concerns, shipment discrepancies, and service-related issues. Coordinate with steamship lines, carriers, and customers regarding freight availability and release dates. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, orders, and shipment activity. Utilize internal systems and software to research issues and facilitate problem resolution. Collaborate with warehouse operations, transportation teams, and customers to ensure excellent service and on-time order fulfillment. Salary: $21- $25 an hour.

Position Requirements: Excellent phone and customer service skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferred. Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Positive, energetic, and customer-focused attitude. Strong organizational and time management skills.
