Vice President of Customer Success

Compensation: $150,000-$165,000 + 10% annual bonus AimHire is conducting a search on behalf of an established, growth-stage SaaS organization seeking a VP of Customer Success. Reporting directly to the CEO, the incoming VP of Customer Success will take ownership of Customer Success and implementation. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to an operator who thrives in scaling environments and knows how to turn ambitious goals into repeatable, measurable results. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute the company's Customer Success strategy to maximize customer adoption, retention, satisfaction, and expansion revenue. Lead and mentor the Customer Success organization, including Customer Success Managers, onboarding, implementation, account management, and customer support functions as applicable. Own customer health throughout the entire lifecycle—from implementation and onboarding through renewal and expansion. Drive Net Revenue Retention (NRR), Gross Revenue Retention (GRR), customer satisfaction (CSAT), customer engagement, and churn reduction initiatives. Establish scalable customer success programs, playbooks, processes, and best practices that support continued company growth. Partner closely with Sales to ensure smooth customer handoffs and identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts. Collaborate with Product and Engineering by serving as the voice of the customer, influencing product roadmap priorities based on customer feedback and market needs. Build executive relationships with key customers and serve as an escalation point for strategic accounts. Develop customer health scoring, success metrics, forecasting, and executive reporting to provide visibility into customer performance. Requirements 6+ years in senior or executive leadership roles within SaaS or enterprise software SaaS background is required. A track record of helping a SaaS company scale through a meaningful growth stage, ideally in the $10M-$50M+ ARR range. Genuine cross-functional experience, you’ve led or closely partnered with go-to-market, customer success, and product teams simultaneously. A history of building process and structure that enables growth rather than slowing it down. Comfort operating at the board and investor level, with strong executive presence and communication skills. The ability to attract, develop, and retain exceptional talent while holding a high performance bar.
