Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough intake interviews with new clients to understand their needs, implementing diagnostic assessments as necessary to inform treatment planning.

• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based methodologies tailored to the unique dynamics and challenges of each client.

• Prepare and maintain accurate progress notes, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines, and document essential information regarding client progress and treatment adjustments.

• Coordinate special programs within the Behavioral Health Department, actively contributing to the development and implementation of resources and interventions that enhance community mental health services.

• Engage with community resources to expand preventive mental health services, advocating for client access to supportive resources and interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will involve working with a diverse population, including individuals, couples, and families facing a range of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, grief, and stress management. You will provide empathetic support and evidence-based interventions to empower clients in overcoming their obstacles and fostering resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is mandatory.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), with an understanding of supervision guidelines within the field.

• At least two (2) years of professional experience providing mental health services, with an emphasis on crisis management.
