We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented financial professional to step into a pivotal role, driving financial integrity and operational efficiency. What You'll Do:

• Lead and oversee all core accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and cash management, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in daily operations.
• Manage comprehensive month-end and year-end close processes, preparing precise journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements that provide a clear picture of the company's financial health.
• Conduct in-depth cost accounting and analysis, evaluating job, product, and customer profitability, and meticulously reviewing manufacturing cost variances across materials, labor, and freight.
• Maintain and update standard costing systems, providing crucial support for pricing analysis and strategic financial decisions.
• Ensure robust internal controls are in place and uphold strict tax and regulatory compliance, including managing filings, sales/use tax, and payroll reporting.
• Act as a primary liaison with external CPAs, auditors, banks, and tax advisors, facilitating smooth and accurate external coordination.
• Monitor key financial trends, analyzing revenue, margins, and cash flow to deliver actionable reports and insights directly to leadership.
• Actively support budgeting, forecasting, and inventory valuation/review processes, contributing to sound financial planning.
• Provide essential vendor and sourcing support, evaluating quotes, analyzing major material purchases, assisting with domestic and overseas supplier sourcing, and aiding in contract negotiations for various services.
• Administer complete payroll processing, assist with employee onboarding, and maintain confidential personnel and benefit records.
• Support COBRA and workers' compensation reporting, ensuring compliance and accurate administration.
• Drive process improvement initiatives within the accounting department, streamlining procedures for greater efficiency and accuracy.
• Guide and mentor junior staff, fostering a collaborative environment and preparing to take on increasing departmental leadership responsibilities and special projects for senior management.

What You'll Bring:


Must-Have Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) combined with 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP/accounting systems.
• Demonstrated expertise in cost accounting, inventory valuation, job profitability analysis, and adherence to standard GAAP practices.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving capabilities.
• A solid understanding of manufacturing cost drivers and operational workflows.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively translate complex financial findings for non-financial managers.
• A self-starter mentality, capable of managing multiple deadlines with high integrity and a commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to speak some Mandarin or Cantonese.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• CPA or CMA certification.
• Previous supervisory or accounting department leadership experience.
• Hands-on experience with payroll, benefits administration, and manufacturing ERP systems.
• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese or Cantonese (or other Asian/Pacific Rim languages) for supplier coordination.
