Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Facilitating Group Therapy: Lead supportive group sessions that encourage clients to connect, share experiences, and learn from each other in an engaging atmosphere.

• Conducting Individual Therapy: Provide personalized counseling services that empower clients to explore their thoughts and feelings, develop coping strategies, and create actionable plans for improvement.

• Developing Treatment Plans: Collaborate with clients to design individualized treatment plans that reflect their unique needs and goals, aligning therapeutic approaches with their aspirations.

• Monitoring Progress: Utilize assessment tools and feedback methods to track client progress and outcomes, adjusting treatment approaches as necessary to ensure optimal results.

• Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, maintaining regular communication, coordinating care effectively, and consulting on complex cases to deliver comprehensive support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your focus as a counselor will be on young adults aged 18 to 30 within our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). This population requires a nuanced understanding of the specific mental health challenges they face, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and transitional issues. You will play a pivotal role in guiding them through their recovery journey, helping them address challenges and facilitate positive change in their lives.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Must hold a valid License as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Washington State.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field.
\n
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients, families, and colleagues.
\n
• Proficiency in evidence-based therapies and techniques tailored for young adults.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates who have:

Compensation and Benefits\n
