Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health status through one-on-one sessions, using standardized diagnostic tools and clinical interviewing techniques.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that incorporate various therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based strategies.

• Regularly meet with clients to track progress, adjust treatment plans, and provide ongoing support using culturally competent practices to address client-specific needs.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, ensuring that all therapeutic activities are relevant, engaging, and supportive of healing and growth.

• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and community resources, to coordinate comprehensive care plans for clients requiring additional support or medication management.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Better Living Psychotherapy Center, you will work with a diverse population facing various challenges, including but not limited to depression, anxiety disorders, substance use issues, trauma, and eating disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Candidates must possess a valid and active state license as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R.

• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling is essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n
