What You'll Do

• Provide safe, effective nursing care to post-surgical patients, including orthopedics, general surgery, and neuro populations
• Administer medications and treatments following protocol, monitor for side effects, and evaluate effectiveness
• Document patient histories, symptoms, medications, and care plans accurately
• Assess and address the emotional, cultural, and psychological needs of patients and families
• Educate patients and families about their care, treatments, and recovery processes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Float as needed across units to meet patient care demands

What You Need

• Required:
  • RN license (state or compact)
  • BLS certification via AHA
  • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in MedSurg or related clinical setting
• Preferred:
  • Epic electronic health record experience
  • Experience in neuro or post-surgical care
