CNC Machine Operator Job Duties
- Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and machining equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings
- Load materials and monitor machine operations throughout production
- Perform quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools
- Make machine offsets and minor adjustments to maintain product quality
- Record production and inspection data accurately
- Troubleshoot minor machine issues and communicate maintenance needs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all safety procedures
