Position Summary

Jost Chemical is seeking a Box Maker to join our Packaging Department in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment operating under Q7A standards. Working under the direct supervision of the Packaging Manager, this role supports box-making and packaging line operations, including loading, palletizing, and wrapping finished product, while maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Key Responsibilities

• Load boxes into the conveyor (up to 30 lbs.).
• Place pallets in rows on the floor (up to 40 lbs.).
• After the machine forms boxes, place boxes onto pallets, up to 30 per pallet.
• Wrap completed boxes on pallets with shrink wrap.
• Palletize empty drums of all sizes in the trailer and shrink wrap as needed.
• Keep the work area free and clear of trash, and keep machines clean.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of: safety, health, and environmental rules, regulations, policies, and procedures; mathematics and English comprehension (basic level).

Skills & Competencies

• Ability to follow established policies and procedures.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a packaging team.
• Attention to detail and consistency in repetitive tasks.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
