Join us to bring positive change to the community by working with us at NRVCS! New River Valley Community Services, one of the largest Community Service Boards in Virginia, works hard to stay on the pulse of the innovative, evidence-based practices for providing high quality care to the NRV and we can use your assistance! Our Outpatient Transitional Care program is seeking clinicians (LMHP or LMHP-E) to work with adults with a variety of mental health and/or substance use disorders, as part of our post-crisis services community support. Our Transitional Care utilizes a supportive team approach including clinical and case management staff.
We offer flexible scheduling, licensure supervision for LPC and LCSW residents and supervisees, and are a National Health Services Corps Loan Repayment site. Full time staff receive a complete benefits package including health insurance, Virginia Retirement System, PTO, life insurance, and more. Clinician I-Transitional Care:

Clinician I-Transitional Care:
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling or other license-eligible human services field required.
- Required to register and become licensed-eligible within 3 months of hire, with the Virginia Board of Counseling.
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling or other license-eligible human services field required.
- State of Virginia license required in Social Work, Marriage and Family or other related field.
