Remote Accountant (Part-Time)

We’re looking for a part‑time associate (25‑30 hours per week during traditional daytime business hours) who is comfortable working remotely and embraces new technology.

Since 2004, we have been empowering business owners by taking bookkeeping and operational support functions off their plates, allowing them to focus on their core business. We use a cloud‑based platform, virtual infrastructure, and proven processes to deliver a suite of outsourced full‑cycle accounting services.

What You’ll Do

• Provide exceptional accounting and operational service to clients.
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of professional accounting and bookkeeping practices.
• Support client onboarding for all assigned client engagements in accordance with defined processes.
• Execute processes related to accounts payable and accounts receivable, bookkeeping entries, month‑end closing, and preparing financial reporting and analysis.
• Collaborate with manager and other associates to ensure clients are delighted with our services through timely and effective communication.
• Manage day‑to‑day client relationships while performing within established processes and budget parameters.
• Identify and recommend additional services or tools to add value and efficiency for clients.

Team Collaboration

• Participate in recurring team and one‑on‑one video check‑in meetings.
• Learn and embrace new technology to solve client issues.
• Accept coaching and feedback from manager and implement changes as needed.

What You’ve Done

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• 5+ years of full‑cycle accounting experience, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, month‑end closing, and financial reporting/analysis.
• 1+ year of transactional accounting experience using QuickBooks or NetSuite.
• Experience in a multi‑client environment (highly preferred).
• Capacity and commitment to work 25‑30 hours a week during business hours (8:00 am–5:00 pm EST, CST, MST, or PST).
• Managed client relationships while performing within established processes and budget.
• Passion for delighting clients and helping businesses succeed.
• Commitment to maintain the highest level of confidentiality with client data.

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range: $28 – $35 per hour.
