Education/Experience:

Medical Assistant Certificate from an approved medical assistant training program (such as is offered by a private or

non-profit vocational training program, adult education or community college program etc.) required. 2 years

minimum front office experience required. The Medical Assistant Certificate must be provided to employer.

BLS/CPR (AHA approved) certification

Experience with automated databases, electronic medical records and standard PC Software applications preferred

Bilingual in English and Spanish

High School Diploma or equivalent

Duties:

Welcomes patients and visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.

Optimizes patients' satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person

or by telephone.

Confirms all patient appointments three days before scheduled appointments.

Ensure “new patient” on-line registration (patient portal) including patient histories and demographics are done in a

timely manner prior to scheduled appointments.

Keeps patient appointments on schedule by notifying provider of patient's arrival; reviewing service delivery

compared to schedule; reminding provider of service delays.

Witnesses patient consents.

Comforts patients by anticipating patients' anxieties; answering patients' questions; maintaining the reception area.

Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.

Has an understanding of the types of procedures performed in the practice and is able to communicate the details to

prospective patients.

Responsible for patient email and telephone inquiries. Check and respond to all emails throughout the day on a daily

basis.

Have full working knowledge of injectable products, current promotions and Spa at Eterna Services.

Have a working knowledge of our company websites.

Call to follow-up on cosmetic consult no-shows.

Stay current on all injectable rebates and promotions so we are able to offer them to our patients.

Prepares gift bags, gift certificates and product samples for patients.

Maintains business office inventory and equipment by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating

needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies; scheduling equipment

service and repairs.

Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work station that is properly stocked with promotional materials at all times.

Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.

Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
