Inside Sales Representative

Job Title: Inside Sales Representative Reports To: Regional Sales Manager FLSA Status: Salary, Exempt, Part-Time/Full-Time Job Description; The position will work a hybrid schedule remotely and out of our corporate location in Indianapolis, IN supporting the Indianapolis Field Office regarding sales, account management and new business development Essential Duties and Responsibilities Electrical project estimates, proposals and quotes Assists outside sales team to proactively increase new business and expand business with existing customers Handle multiple customer inquiries simultaneously Coordinate with sales team and customers on pricing and processing PO’s Resolve customer issues Secure market level pricing feedback from customers Partner with Operations to coordinate timely project execution Partners with Operation to manage existing accounts Assign protect tasks and ensures that materials, tools, manpower and equipment are scheduled to meet project schedules Read and interpret manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams in order to direct the installation of electrical apparatus according to manufacturer’s specifications Participate in bi-weekly meetings with the Regional Operations Manager to discuss potential or existing issues as well as opportunities for improvement Participate in safety meetings and training Take calls and give technical advice outside normal business hours Required Skills Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of electrical distribution and other electrical sales environments Experience in electrical project management, including the ability to layout projects and generate value engineering proposals for switchgear projects Excellent attention to detail Strong negotiation skills including the ability to communicate on all levels with internal and external groups Strong organization and problem solving skills Ability to multitask, prioritize and work well under pressure to meet goals and deadlines Ability to work independently while utilizing excellent judgement Must have intermediate level computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite Work Environment: Corporate business hours are 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm Some travel could be required to customer locations or other PPM offices as needed Required Experience At least an associate’s degree in a technical field, business, management or a related field, electrical engineering or electrical engineering technology preferred In lieu of a degree, 2 to 4 years of project management experience in the electrical contractor / utility market will be considered #J-18808-Ljbffr Group-CBS
