Registered Nurse Coordinator

Job Overview Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements in the Program. Identifies resources needed and manages day-to-day operational aspects of the Programs and updates the team on a regular basis. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and coordinate delivery of plan of care. Manage implementation timelines, ongoing clinical and technical support, and development of site‑specific education and improvement strategies. Conduct system and process reviews on targeted operational and service functions to validate or recommend implementation opportunities to improve productivity, customer service, and/or quality. Serve as a liaison to regulatory agencies and community partners and participate in meetings, conferences, in‑services as required. Serve as a team lead and chair committees as assigned. Adapt behavior to specific patient population, including privacy, introduction, explanation of services, permissions, and communication style. Perform other related duties as required. Qualifications Education: Registered Nurse Diploma (required). Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred). Work Experience: 5 years nursing experience; 1 year supervisory experience. Certifications: Current RN license in the state of practice; Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association. Certification in clinical specialty area (preferred). Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs) Computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of patient information; proficient with Windows‑style applications and keyboard. Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals throughout the patient care process. Strong conflict resolution and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and interpretive skills. Advanced judgment and decision‑making skills. Strong time management skills. Ability to work self‑directed, independently, and manage multiple priorities and competing demands. Physical and Environmental Demands Heavy work – Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Must be capable of moving and lifting boxes, equipment, and fixtures weighing up to 100 lbs. Must be able to move throughout the department, the hospital, and between off‑campus sites. Duties performed routinely require exposure to blood, body fluid, and tissue. Incumbent works in a patient care area; works directly with patients and/or specimens that could contain diseases. There may be an occupational risk for exposure to communicable diseases.
