Job Description

• Design Customized Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs and create tailored strategies to help them meet their functional objectives
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based interventions to improve motor skills, cognitive functions, and daily living activities of patients
• Collaborate with a Diverse Team: Work alongside OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nursing professionals to provide holistic, comprehensive care
• Educate Patients and Families: Instruct patients and their families about therapeutic practices that support progress at home
• Evaluate and Document Progress: Monitor patient outcomes and adapt treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective recovery

Education

• Completion of an Occupational Therapy degree from an accredited program
• Encouragement and support for ongoing education or further certifications

Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) licensure
• NBCOT certification is a must
