Medical Laboratory Technologist

We are seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist to support a Quality Laboratory responsible for testing and evaluating regulated in vitro diagnostic products. This position plays a key role in ensuring products consistently meet established quality standards through laboratory testing, documentation, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Responsibilities Perform quality control and release testing using immunohematology and serological laboratory techniques. Conduct laboratory assays to evaluate product performance, including potency, specificity, reactivity, and hemagglutination testing. Perform routine chemical analyses such as protein concentration, absorbance, chloride, osmolality, and pH testing. Execute laboratory procedures in accordance with approved standard operating procedures (SOPs), cGMP requirements, and applicable safety regulations. Prepare laboratory reagents, standards, calibrators, and chemical solutions following documented procedures. Maintain accurate laboratory documentation, testing records, and manufacturing quality documentation in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices. Support investigations involving out-of-specification results, laboratory deviations, and root cause analyses. Monitor laboratory inventory levels and communicate supply needs to ensure uninterrupted testing activities. Collaborate with laboratory leadership and cross-functional teams to support quality initiatives and continuous improvement efforts. Qualifications Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, Biological Sciences, or a related laboratory discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant laboratory experience. Bachelor\'s degree in Biology, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related scientific field preferred. Approximately 6 months to 2 years of blood bank, transfusion medicine, immunohematology, or related clinical laboratory experience preferred. Familiarity with quality laboratory testing in a regulated environment is preferred. Strong analytical, mathematical, and troubleshooting skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. MLT (ASCP) or MT/MLS (ASCP) certification is preferred. Ability to follow detailed laboratory procedures while maintaining accuracy, organization, and regulatory compliance. #J-18808-Ljbffr
