A well-established company in Warwick, RI, is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist to join their accounting department on a temp-to-perm, full-time basis. This role supports AP and AR functions, making it a great fit for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a multi-entity accounting environment.
Compensation & Highlights:
- Pay Rate: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour, based on experience
- Location: Warwick, RI
- Contract-to-Permanent
Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist:
- Enter payables and process a weekly check run across multiple companies and accounts
- Perform account reconciliations, create and post invoices, and post receipts
- Manage billing and collections activities
- Maintain vendor lists and insurance certificates
- Provide general office support, including filing, copying, and answering phones.
Qualifications of the Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist:
- 3-5+ years of experience handling both AP and AR
- Strong skills in billing, collections, and account reconciliation
- Knowledge of MRI software is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
