Job Description Ethicon, a part of Johnson & Johnson, is a leader in surgical technologies and solutions, including sutures, staplers, energy devices, trocars, and hemostats. The Ethicon Associate Account Executive (AAE) will expand sales of Ethicon products in the U.S., support Area/Region sales activities, and, upon successful completion of duties, be eligible to compete for an Account Executive role. Primary Responsibilities Expand sales of Ethicon products and convert competitive products in compliance with company policy and sales direction. Support the aligned Area/Region for all sales‑related activities and be eligible to compete for a full Account Executive role upon successful performance. Undergo training to understand and demonstrate proper use of Ethicon products to healthcare providers in an operating room setting. Execute the selling cycle concisely, professionally, and ethically, leading the customer to action. Understand and demonstrate proper preparation and surgical use of all Ethicon products. Manage customer product questions and objections consistently with sales training methodology. Conduct sales presentations using current selling methods learned in training courses. Provide case coverage, supporting surgeons through strategic platforms and products in the operating room. Comply with standards for safe behavior, product, procedure, and clinical knowledge, and conduct business in accordance with the Business Conduct Policy, HCC, and other J&J policies and procedures. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree. 0–2 years business experience. Ability to travel as necessary (including overnight or weekend travel) and/or relocate to an assigned geography. Valid driver’s license issued in the United States. Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of professional experience. Established business planning and forecasting experience. Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in Life Sciences, Medicine, or Business (preferred). Experience selling in a new or changed sales channel. Strong desire to learn and grow professionally. Excellent process management and organizational agility. Documentation of successful sales performance. Ability to work in an operating room setting.
