The Windows Systems Administrator (SA) provides on-site SA services to offices in the NCR to ensure we manage the assets and operations support the customer's mission to provide IT services to DoS users enterprise wide.Manage the installation, maintenance, and proactive monitoring of hardware and all customer applications.Manage security and vendor patches, updates, vSphere Installation Bundles, and Oracle/SQL databases.Enforce security controls in alignment with DoS policies, including AD administration, vSphere/OS remediation, and security compliance tools.Ensure confidentiality, integrity, availability, efficiency, and effectiveness of systems, software, hardware, and data; provide technical support for testing and evaluation, and execute regular data backups, restores, and purging procedures.Log, manage and resolve all incidents and service requests in the Ticket Management System; initiate, track, and document all configuration changes for hardware, software, and permissions.Monitor system performance for anomalies; maintain current site topology diagrams, system configurations, and comprehensive technical documentation.Provide regular status reporting on all SA activities, manage internal project coordination, and promptly notify management of risks affecting IT services.QualificationsThe following are the education and experience required for this position:5+ yearsBachelor's in IT or related fieldMicrosoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator AssociateSecret Security ClearancePreferred requirements:Comp TIA Sec+, ITIL 4 Foundation Certification(s)Physical requirements:Sitting for long periodsStanding for long periodsAmbulate throughout an officeAmbulate between several buildingsStoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as requiredRepeatedly lift and carry weight up to 40 poundsTravel by land or air transportation 10%About Empower AIAll hiring and promotion decisions at Empower AI are based on merit to bring the best talent available to contribute to our firm's overall success.
