Human Resources Director

Robert Half has an exciting full-time direct-hire HR Director opportunity open with a client located in Tampa, FL!
The ideal candidate will act as an employee champion and a leader of change. You will plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate the organization's human resource function and performance.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic HR leadership by analyzing workforce data, delivering actionable insights and reporting to executive leadership, and partnering with management to support key business initiatives and organizational growth.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations while proactively identifying and mitigating human resources risks that could impact the organization
- Create and manage learning and development initiatives that enhance employee skills, leadership capabilities, career progression opportunities, and overall organizational effectiveness.
- Direct the organization's performance management programs by establishing evaluation processes, coaching leaders, driving accountability, and supporting employee growth and development.
- Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture by providing guidance on employee relations matters, resolving workplace concerns, supporting employee engagement initiatives, and promoting organizational values.
- Oversee the design, administration, and evaluation of compensation and benefits programs to ensure market competitiveness, internal equity, employee satisfaction, and alignment with organizational goals.
- Lead the full-cycle recruitment and onboarding process by developing hiring strategies, attracting top talent, managing workforce planning initiatives, and ensuring a seamless integration of new employees into the organization.
- Develop, implement, and continuously enhance HR policies, procedures, systems, and organizational frameworks that support business objectives, ensure operational efficiency, and promote a consistent employee experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relatable field
- 7+ years' of HR experience with 3+ years at the director or management level
- PHR or SHRM highly preferred
- Manufacturing industry experience a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
