With set hours of 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM and a contract spanning from August 19 to June 7, 2027 (with August 17-18 as optional but highly recommended preparation days), you’ll have the structure and security to develop meaningful relationships with students and colleagues alike.

Qualifications:

• Current Special Education (SpEd) teaching license, or actively pursuing SpEd licensure
• Experience or coursework in special education, preferably at the middle school or high school level
• Ability to design and implement IEPs to support diverse learners
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams
• Dedication to creating an inclusive, positive classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated instruction tailored to individual student IEPs
• Assess student progress regularly and adjust strategies as needed
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to facilitate student success
• Manage classroom routines and behavior with patience and empathy
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to regulatory compliance standards
