We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations in Morris County, New Jersey. This long-term contract position is ideal for someone who is organized, responsive, and comfortable handling a wide range of administrative tasks in a structured setting. The role will involve coordinating schedules, managing correspondence, supporting office communications, and maintaining accurate records to help the team operate efficiently.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate travel arrangements, including booking transportation and organizing itineraries for team members
• Manage calendars by scheduling meetings, updating appointments, and helping prioritize daily commitments
• Register employees for conferences, events, and meetings while tracking related details
• Prepare and revise letters, routine documents, and other written correspondence with accuracy and care
• Maintain organized filing systems for both digital and physical records to support easy document access
• Answer incoming calls, greet visitors, and provide general front-desk and receptionist support as needed
• Enter and update data in office records and administrative systems with strong attention to detail
• Prior experience in an administrative assistant, office support, or receptionist role• Ability to manage calendars, travel coordination, and document preparation efficiently
• Comfortable handling inbound calls and communicating effectively with internal and external contacts
• Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and organization
• Proficiency with general administrative office practices and standard business software
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adjust priorities as business needs change
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in a detail-oriented office environment
