Director Accounts Payable

Director of Accounts Payable -Onsite Four Days. We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable leader to oversee and improve a high-performing AP function. This individual will lead the AP team, manage end-to-end payment operations, strengthen controls, and drive process improvements and automation. Responsibilities include: Lead and develop the Accounts Payable team and oversee day-to-day AP operations Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, reconciliations, and vendor inquiries Partner with Procurement, Finance, Legal, and other internal stakeholders Strengthen internal controls, compliance, and audit processes Drive process improvement, automation, and operational efficiencies Manage month-end and year-end AP activities, reporting, aging, and reconciliations Develop and monitor AP KPIs and performance metrics Oversee vendor relationships and assist with resolving payment and invoice issues Qualifications: 8+ years of progressive Accounts Payable or Procure-to-Pay experience, including leadership responsibility Strong experience managing AP operations and teams Hands on Coupa experience required Experience with Procure-to-Pay processes strongly preferred Experience participating in or leading system implementations, particularly Coupa or other AP/P2P tools, strongly preferred Strong understanding of AP controls, payment processes, reconciliations, and month-end close Demonstrated experience improving processes and driving automation Experience with ERP and financial systems Strong communication and cross-functional leadership skills This is an excellent opportunity for an AP leader who enjoys building efficient processes, leading teams, and improving the overall Procure-to-Pay function. #J-18808-Ljbffr Clark Davis Associates
