Accounts Payable Clerk

We are looking for a highly motivated candidate with Accounts Payable experience to join our accounting team for a short period of 12 weeks

8:30AM- 5:00PM). Must be very flexible with overtime hours and be willing to stay late, when necessary, although very rare.This role requires effective time management, the ability to think independently, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the accounting principles, financial record-keeping, and regulatory compliance.

College degree in accounting would be preferable. The salary will be between $23.00/hr. to $24.00/hr. depending on the experience and qualifications.

Key responsibilities would include but won't be limited to:

Invoice Processing - Receive, Review, and verify invoices from vendors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and purchase orders
Administrative Support - Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, word processing and maintaining financial records
Monthly Closing Process - Prepare assigned Bank Reconciliations and Balance Sheet Account Analysis as well as A/P Accrual

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Education: College degree in accounting preferable.
Must have Accounts Payable experience.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Attention to Detail and Data Entry Experience: Strong organizational skills with high accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
Computer Skills : Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook. Comfortable handling heavy emails and learning all our internal systems software's.
Bilingual (Preferred but Not Required): Must speak, write, and read English.
