Accounts Payable Clerk – Phoenixville, PA
We’re partnering with a growing organization in the Phoenixville area that is looking to add an Accounts Payable Clerk to its accounting team.
This is a temp-to-hire opportunity and is 100% onsite , Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM–4:30 PM .
The ideal candidate will bring 1–3 years of Accounts Payable experience , strong attention to detail, and an enthusiastic, coachable personality. This is a great opportunity for someone earlier in their accounting career who wants to learn, grow, and become part of a close-knit team.
Responsibilities include:
- Matching and posting vendor invoices to purchasing receipts
- Processing PO and non-PO invoices
- Reviewing invoices for proper documentation and approval
- Reconciling vendor statements
- Responding to vendor payment questions and invoice disputes
- Maintaining supporting documentation and vendor records
- Assisting with special projects and other accounting needs
Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of Accounts Payable experience
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to learn new systems quickly
- High school diploma required; associate degree preferred
