Job Summary SRWC Facilities Coordinator (2‑year Fixed Term) – 2‑year fixed‑term position at Stanford Redwood City campus. Job Code 4372. Grade G. Full‑time. Requisition ID 109028. Job Purpose Perform specialized, diverse work activities and coordinate solutions with limited supervision, acting as the operational hub for the SRWC campus consolidation. The role is responsible for hands‑on execution of logistic coordination and tactical duties required for a successful transition, ensuring seamless operations. Core Duties Financial & Vendor Coordination: Support SRWC operations, procurement, and vendors; manage billing, accounts payable, purchase orders; ensure financial accuracy and vendor accountability. Operational Support & Quality Control: Provide on‑ground support; perform inspections of vendor work, building readiness, compliance signage; monitor and respond to service request logs, email inbox, and Slack channels for rapid response. Project & Data Management: Manage tactical execution of consolidation projects; maintain open‑item lists; manage asset records in Sunflower; coordinate space management updates in iSpace. Communication & Support: Serve as key point of contact for campus departments, vendors, internal partners; provide customer service and facilitate clear communication. Emergency & Systems Preparedness: Support SRWC resiliency and emergency response program; coordinate routine maintenance services; manage maintenance shutdown procedures. Minimum Requirements Education & Experience : Bachelor’s degree and three years of related facilities management experience, or a combination of education and experience. Five years of related experience preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities : Coordinate and manage multiple projects with competing priorities; meet deadlines; deliver on project plans in fast‑paced environment. Strong interpersonal skills and mature judgment for interaction with leadership, staff, vendors. Expertise in operational coordination, rapid response, logistical problem solving. Customer service orientation and effective communication during change. Working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint; experience with Stanford systems like iSpace and Sunflower desirable. Experience with vendor management, services contracting, purchase order/billing processes. Certifications and Licenses Valid California non‑commercial Class C Driver’s License. Physical Requirements Frequently stand/walk, sit, perform desk‑based tasks. Occasional climbing (ladders, scaffolds), twisting, bending, stooping, squatting; reach/ grasp; lift/carry up to 20 lbs. Rarely kneel/crawl, handle >40 lbs. Must maintain California Driver’s License. Working Conditions 24‑hour response availability seven days per week for emergencies. May be exposed to noise >80 dB TWA. May work at heights of 4–10 ft. Work Standards Compliance with California Vehicle Code and Stanford driving requirements.
