Business Development Representative

Do you want to be compensated for your performance?About the Role:Cross Link Consulting, a Managed IT & Cybersecurity provider, is hiring a Business Development Representative to grow our client base and build lasting relationships with businesses throughout our community.This is a $30-40k base salary + commission role with uncapped earning potential - ideal for someone who wants to build more than a book of business, but become a trusted part of the Cross Link team and the organizations we serve.In this role, you will:Prospect daily through outbound calls, networking, referrals, email, and eventsIdentify organizations that are a strong fit for our Managed IT, cybersecurity, and technology servicesBuild relationships with business owners, executives, and decision makersConduct discovery calls and visits to understand business needs and goalsPartner with our technical and leadership teams to develop the right solutionsMaintain an active, accurate sales pipeline and follow up consistently to move opportunities toward a decisionGuide a smooth transition from prospect to client / sales to operationsRepresent Cross Link professionally in the communityWhat you'll bring:Experience in B2B sales, business development, account management, or a relationship-based sales environment (Managed IT, cybersecurity, SaaS, or telecom experience is a plus)A humble, hungry, and smart approach - confident but coachable, self-motivated, and genuinely curious about people and businessesComfort prospecting and creating new opportunities from scratchStrong communication skills and the ability to build trust with decision makersA competitive drive balanced with a team-oriented mindsetA desire for compensation that reflects the value you createCompensation & Benefits:$30-40k base salary + commission with uncapped earning potentialThis role requires daily prospecting and relationship building.
