Work Environment\n

This is a fully remote position, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a commitment to support students and their families. You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with educational staff, counselors, and other stakeholders to create a positive impact on students' lives. While the role is primarily remote, occasional onsite visits to schools may be required to facilitate direct interactions with students and staff. Our work hours will typically be Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with potential evening or weekend availability based on client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of psychosocial needs for students, taking into account their emotional, mental, and social factors affecting educational performance.

• Collaborate with students, families, and school personnel to develop tailored care plans that align with individual goals and educational aspirations.

• Provide counseling and emotional support to students facing academic challenges, mental health concerns, or significant life transitions.

• Advocate for students' rights and access to necessary resources within the school and community, ensuring high-quality support services are available.

• Engage in collaborative practices with interdisciplinary educational teams to deliver an integrated approach to student care.

• Regularly monitor students’ progress by conducting follow-up sessions and adapting care plans as necessary.

• Facilitate conflict resolution among families regarding educational plans and interventions.
\n
• Educate families on available community resources, workshops, and programs that enhance student engagement and overall well-being.

• Document all interactions, assessments, and care plans accurately to maintain compliance with professional standards and ethical guidelines.

• Stay current with advancements in social work practices, focusing on effective interventions and strategies for addressing the needs of youth in educational settings.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with students ranging from kindergarten through high school, catering to diverse backgrounds and varying needs. Your role will center on fostering resilience, addressing mental health issues, and providing systemic support that empowers students to excel academically and socially.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Pennsylvania.

• A minimum of two years of social work experience, preferably within an educational or community setting.

• In-depth understanding of social work principles, ethical standards, and the psychosocial challenges encountered by youth.

• Strong assessment and counseling skills, with a focus on fostering empathy and rapport with students and their families.

• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and virtual communication tools necessary for remote service delivery.

Preferred Experience\n

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in telehealth services, crisis intervention, and familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic practices aimed at youth. Demonstrated experience in school social work or similar environments is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 60,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
