Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individualized counseling, therapy, and psychotherapy to clients facing emotional challenges related to their illness, developing personalized treatment and discharge plans.

• Conduct thorough assessments by collecting data through interviews, case histories, and observational techniques to evaluate client needs and determine appropriate therapeutic interventions.

• Maintain a manageable caseload, balancing individual therapy sessions with collateral therapy as needed, ensuring that each client receives the attention and care they deserve.

• Review and manage client documentation to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of required assessments, care plans, and progress notes, adhering to clinical standards and best practices.

• Utilize current methodologies to adjust and implement assessment protocols that align with health plan requirements, ensuring the highest quality of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with clients who are facing life-limiting illnesses and their families. Your expertise in mental health will be crucial in helping clients develop coping strategies, manage anxiety and depression, and navigate the emotional complexities of hospice care. This position's focus is on empowering clients, fostering a sense of dignity, and enhancing their quality of life during challenging times.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, qualifying you for independent practice.

• An active and unrestricted Clinical Independent Social Worker License (LICSW) in the state of Washington.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, with at least one year in mental health, providing direct client care.

• Strong skills in conflict resolution and effective communication, enabling constructive interactions with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.

Compensation and Benefits\n
