Work Environment\n

This position is a fully remote role with a focus on providing services in a school setting. You will have the flexibility of working from home while remaining integral to our partnerships with local schools. Working hours primarily align with regular school business hours, although occasional evening and weekend availability may be necessary to participate in special events and programs that further our mission.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of students’ social, emotional, and psychological needs to develop tailored intervention strategies.

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities to promote emotional growth and resilience.
\n
• Develop, implement, and monitor service plans in alignment with the goals set together with students and their families, ensuring these plans are adaptable to meet evolving needs.

• Advocate for the rights and resources necessary for clients, working collaboratively with educators, social service agencies, and families to promote well-being and social equity.
\n
• Engage in program development activities including designing and evaluating initiatives aimed at addressing the social issues faced by our clients.

• Actively participate in team meetings, contributing to discussions that enhance program quality and client outcomes.
\n
• Facilitate community outreach and training sessions that educate stakeholders on available resources and the importance of mental health support in school settings.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve students from diverse backgrounds, along with their families. Our focus encompasses individuals facing various challenges, including but not limited to academic pressures, family dynamics, mental health issues, and socio-economic barriers. We recognize the importance of trauma-informed care, ensuring that our services are sensitive to the unique experiences of each client.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.

• An active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to practice in Oregon.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively liaise with clients, families, and community stakeholders.

• Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive situations with empathy, confidentiality, and professionalism.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience working in a nonprofit or school setting with a focus on counseling or social work is highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
