You will primarily attend to school-based clients, partnering with educational institutions in Victorville, California. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, including psychosocial evaluations, to identify the unique challenges faced by students.

• Collaborate with students, parents, and school staff to develop tailored treatment plans that encompass individual goals, family dynamics, and cultural considerations.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) in a variety of formats including one-on-one, group, and family sessions.

• Facilitate crisis intervention services, providing immediate support to students and working alongside educators and other healthcare professionals to promote student safety and well-being.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including treatment notes, discharge summaries, and progress reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and clinic policies.

• Empower students and families through psychoeducation, equipping them with essential skills and knowledge to manage mental health challenges effectively.

• Actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care with psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and case managers, ensuring comprehensive treatment for each student.

• Evaluate treatment effectiveness through regular outcome assessments, making necessary adjustments to optimize each student’s mental health progress.

• Remain up-to-date with research and best practices in the mental health field, incorporating new findings into therapeutic strategies.
