CNC Machinist

Direct Hire Opportunity!Hours: Monday - Friday, 5:00am - 2:00pmPay: up to $35.00/HRDuties:Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes to manufacture precision components according to specifications.Study blueprints, sketches, drawings, specifications, and work instructions to determine machining methods, dimensions, tolerances, and setup requirements.Measure, mark, and verify dimensions on materials and finished parts.Select, install, align, and secure tooling, fixtures, attachments, and materials for machining operations.Calculate and set machine controls for speed, feed rates, coolant flow, depth of cut, and other machining parameters.Utilize CNC programs and make edits or adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.Conduct trial runs to verify machine setup and program accuracy prior to production.Monitor machine operations, identify machining issues, and make necessary adjustments to maintain tolerances.Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure conformance to engineering drawings and specifications.Troubleshoot machining problems and collaborate with team members to resolve production issues.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Qualifications:Previous CNC machining experience required; programming experience is a plus.Experience operating and setting up CNC mills and lathes.Experience with Mastercam software preferred.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.Proficiency using precision measuring tools and inspection equipment.Strong understanding of machining practices, tolerances, tooling, and machine setup procedures.Ability to calculate speeds, feeds, depths of cut, and other machining parameters.Working knowledge of mathematical concepts including fractions, percentages, ratios, proportions, geometry, and trigonometry.Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.Ability to identify machining defects and make appropriate machine or program adjustments.Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts.Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. as needed.Why Express Employment Professionals, Oshkosh WI?Express placed over 1,350 people in 2024 just in the Fox Valley!We provide our associates with excellent comprehensive and competitive benefits!When you apply to us, you apply to 100+ companies in the Fox Valley!Over 170 people were hired on with a permanent position in 2024.Apply now:Call View phone number on click.appcast.io OPTION 2 to schedule a phone interview.Address - 1775 Witzel Ave Oshkosh WI, 54902Email - View email address on click.appcast.io
