Position Overview

ProFlex Sports and Wellness is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team at our rehabilitation center located in Mesquite, Nevada. This full-time position requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in an onsite environment. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive skill set to help patients recover from injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions, ultimately enhancing their quality of life.

Work Environment

Located in the vibrant city of Mesquite, our rehabilitation center provides a positive and encouraging ambiance where patients can thrive. Working alongside physicians, occupational therapists, athletic trainers, and other health experts, our Physical Therapist will engage in a dynamic workspace tailored to collaboration and mutual respect. The center operates Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life schedule for our employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations of patients to assess physical function, strength, and mobility, using evidence-based assessment techniques tailored to varying conditions.
• Implement advanced diagnostic methodologies to establish treatment requirements and associated goals.
• Design and deploy individualized treatment programs that focus on restoring patients' function and alleviating pain.
• Utilize a diverse array of therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and neuromuscular re-education to support rehabilitation efforts.
• Educate patients and their families effectively on prevention strategies, rehabilitation techniques, and home exercise regimens for optimal recovery.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, case managers, and other healthcare professionals, facilitating an interdisciplinary approach to achieve the best patient outcomes.
• Foster open communication with patients, their families, and caregivers to build trust and ensure an effective rehabilitation process.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist will work predominantly with a diverse population of patients, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Understanding the unique challenges each patient faces is pivotal in tailoring the rehabilitation plans to address their specific needs holistically. The therapist will also facilitate workshops focused on injury prevention strategies and active lifestyle promotion.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapy license to practice in the state of Nevada .
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective, patient-focused treatment plans based on individual patient evaluations.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, complemented by a compassionate approach to patient care.
• Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a physical therapy role, with a strong preference for experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Familiarity with advanced therapeutic modalities and innovative rehabilitation techniques.
• Proven track record of enhancing patient outcomes through personalized care approaches.

Compensation and Benefits
