Ophthalmology Medical Specialist II LA, MS, AR

Regeneron seeks an Ophthalmology Medical Specialist II to support retina therapy commercialization across Louisiana, Mississippi, and Arkansas. This field-based role involves building relationships with retina specialists, executing territory business plans, and educating healthcare providers on clinical data and treatment pathways.
Responsibilities
- Develop and expand strategic relationships with retina specialists and ophthalmology practices
- Execute territory business plans to achieve sales objectives and grow ophthalmology portfolio
- Educate healthcare providers on clinical data, product benefits, and treatment pathways
- Partner with customers to enhance patient access and improve treatment outcomes
- Analyze market trends and territory dynamics to inform business planning and strategy
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and minimum 5 years specialty pharmaceutical or biotechnology sales experience
- Demonstrated track record of high sales performance and territory goal achievement
- Experience selling biologics and buy-and-bill products in specialty healthcare
- Strong knowledge of reimbursement, managed care, formulary processes, and contract negotiations
- Ophthalmology sales experience preferred; retina-focused experience strongly preferred
- Proven ability to develop strategic relationships with physicians and key stakeholders
- Residency within or near Louisiana, Mississippi, and Arkansas territory required
