We are seeking a medical administrative assistant and back office certified medical assistant to become a part of our team! We are a two physician allergy and immunology practice in West Los Angeles. You will perform medical triage and scheduling intramuscular and subcutaneous injections, allergy skin testing and allergy shots and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Handle patient care duties in a timely manner
• Perform routine tasks including patient scheduling medical triage preparation and faxing of medical documents to referring physicians and medical billing
• Communicate with insurance companies for medication prior authorizations.
• Relay patient phone concerns and emails to the physicians and/or medical staff in a timely and thoughtful manner
• Perform intramuscular and subcutaneous injections
• perform venipuncture and allergy skin testing
• perform pulmonary function testing

​ Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an administrative assistant in a medical office.
• Allergy and immunology or other related fields preferred
• Clinical back office experience
• Strong computer skills including EHR and Microsoft Excel competency
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
