Job Description
A Pastry Chef is responsible for creating a variety of sweet baked goods and desserts while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. This role involves creativity and technical baking skills to design appealing menus and satisfy customer tastes in a bakery or culinary establishment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake pastries, cakes, and desserts according to recipes and standards
- Create new dessert recipes and develop seasonal menu items
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Manage inventory and order baking supplies as needed
- Maintain clean and organized workstation and equipment
- Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely order delivery
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in pastry baking
