Position Title: Medical Assistant or LPN (Surgical Specialties)

Job Location: Madison, WI 53792

Job Type: Contract

Duration: 13 weeks

Shifts: 32 hrs./week, Days, 8 hr. shifts

No. of positions: 1

Must Have: Active BLS (AHA) and CMA License

Responsibilities:
• Prepare patients for exams by taking medical histories and explaining procedures.
• Provide instructions to patients about medications, special diets, and other healthcare needs as directed by the physician.
• Keep accurate records of patient care, medications, and observations.
• Provide patients and their families with information on managing conditions, medications, and post-discharge care.

Education & Experience Requirements:
• Work history/resume
• Current registered nurse (CMA) license in the state of employment
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
