Collections Specialist - $20/hr + Monthly Incentive

Description Make and receive customer calls to address overdue accounts and discuss repayment options. Provide exceptional service while encouraging customers to make payments on their past‑due accounts. Responsibilities Contact customers to address overdue accounts and discuss repayment options. Encourage and facilitate payments on past‑due accounts. Accurately record customer interactions, including communication logs, payments, repayment plan enrollments, and other important information. Gather information to understand customers’ financial situations and build meaningful relationships. Negotiate, probe, influence, and demonstrate resourcefulness to achieve outcomes. Qualifications and Skills Demonstrated empathy while being assertive to achieve required outcomes. Ability to meet and exceed quality goals, compliance regulations, and productivity targets individually and within a team. Strong interpersonal, communication, and listening skills. Experience in customer service or collections related roles. High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in business preferred. Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite. Compensation Base pay $20 per hour. Monthly incentives ranging from $1,250 to $2,500 based on performance. Work Schedule First 90 days: in‑office 8a.m.–5p.m., Monday‑Friday. Afterward, schedule bids every 6 months with 8a.m.–5p.m., 10a.m.–7p.m., or 12p.m.–9p.m. Evening shift receives 15% shift differential. Must be flexible to work some Saturdays.
