You will plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets and adjusts short-term priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work.

You will manage integration and enhancement of the following activities: physical security/anti-terrorism; information and industrial security; operation security; nuclear refueling/defueling security; and technical security.

You will review programming documents received from higher headquarters to determine effect on mission.

You will coordinate with the NAVSEA and U.S. Fleet Forces Command (FFC) to assure proper balance consistent with requirements and available resources.

You will advise of capabilities to accomplish objectives as set forth, indicating areas requiring assistance or revision by higher headquarters.

You will plan, direct, and control the allocation and utilization of all authorized resources for execution of the security mission.

You will execute and monitor resource utilization and in-house and contractual expenditures.

You will provide oversight of all facets of security functions that fall under the purview of NNSY.

You will administer the program for classification, declassification and downgrading of classified information; prepares classification guides.
