Lab Technician - Construction Testing

Future Tech Consultants of NY (FTC), a SOCOTEC Company, located in Mineola, NY is a Comprehensive Engineering, Inspection and Testing Company that has earned a highly regarded reputation for professionalism and reliability in the construction industry. FTC is owned and operated by Professional Engineers with over 50 years of inspection and testing experience. We are currently looking for Laboratory Technician for the Construction Materials Testing Lab.
Candidate’s responsibilities to perform laboratory tests related to Concrete, Soil, Asphalt, Masonry, and other construction materials in accordance with applicable testing standards/methods.
Performing a variety of laboratory standardized tests on soils and construction materials using established methods laboratory testing tasks.
Report results of testing as per ASTM requirements.
Perform Laboratory maintenance.
Perform maintenance and verifications of laboratory testing equipment.
The ideal candidate should have technical/engineering background, knowledge or degree and able to obtain ACI Lab Concrete Testing Certifications within 6 months of hiring.
