POSITION SUMMARY

The Sales Account Manager will be highly motivated and results-driven to expand our market presence and drive revenue growth. This role is responsible for developing new business, maintaining strong customer relationships, and promoting our construction material supply and rental equipment services. The ideal candidate will have experience in outside sales, strong industry knowledge, and the ability to manage client accounts effectively. This position is also expected to support the overall operation of Form Services, Inc., when needed. Certain tasks may be asked that do not fall into the essential functions of this job.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES

1. Business Development & Sales Growth

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the construction industry.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to increase market share and revenue.
• Build and maintain relationships with contractors, project managers, and procurement teams.
• Conduct site visits and customer meetings to assess needs and provide tailored solutions.

2. Account Management & Customer Service

• Manage a portfolio of existing customers, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
• Provide product recommendations and rental equipment solutions based on client needs.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers, handling inquiries, quotes, and negotiations.
• Follow up on leads, bids, and proposals to secure new contracts.

3. Industry & Product Expertise

• Stay informed about construction materials, rental equipment, and industry trends.
• Educate customers on product applications, pricing, and availability.
• Work closely with inside sales, operations, and logistics teams to ensure seamless service.

4. Sales Performance & Reporting

• Meet and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and forecasts in CRM software.
• Provide regular sales reports and market feedback to management.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Associate’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in outside sales, account management, or business development, preferably in construction materials or equipment rentals.
• Prior military service highly desirable.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of construction supply and rental equipment industries.
• Proven ability to generate leads, close deals, and build long-term customer relationships.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales tracking tools.
• Ability to travel within assigned territory (valid driver’s license required).

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to travel frequently for client meetings, site visits, and networking events. Ability to lift and carry product samples or materials as needed (up to 25 lbs). Comfortable working in outdoor environments, construction sites, and warehouse settings.
