Event Marketing Specialist

Job Overview The Trade Marketing & Events Specialist supports brand growth and commercial execution across the beverage category by leading trade marketing initiatives and high-impact events. This role partners closely with Sales, Marketing, and Merchandising teams to strengthen brand visibility. Key Responsibilities Event Planning & Execution— Lead the planning, coordination, and on-site execution of beverage industry trade shows, and sampling activations. Manage logistics, booth design, vendor relationships, and post-event performance recaps. Trade Marketing Programs— Develop and execute trade marketing initiatives that drive velocity and distribution, including POS materials, promotional merchandise, retail displays, and seasonal campaigns. Sales Enablement— Create sell-in materials, product education tools, and channel-specific assets that support the Sales team in presenting the beverage portfolio to retailers, operators, and distributors. Budget Management— Manage trade marketing and event budgets, ensuring cost-effective planning, accurate forecasting, and timely reconciliation. Cross-Functional Collaboration— Work closely with sales, merchandising, marketing and design teams. Performance Tracking— Measure the impact of trade programs and events, providing insights and recommendations to optimize future execution. Compliance Awareness— Ensure all trade materials and activations comply with beverage industry regulations and brand guidelines. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field 3-5 years of experience in trade marketing, events, or field marketing (beverage or CPG experience strongly preferred) Strong understanding of beverage industry dynamics, and category trends Excellent project management and organizational skills Strong communication and relationship-building abilities Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Experience working with agencies, vendors, and distributor partners Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CRM or marketing platforms Willingness to travel for events Ideal Candidate You’re a resourceful, detail-oriented, energetic marketer who thrives in the fast-moving beverage world.
